Feeling of sorrow for the distance, absence, deprivation or loss of someone or something loved.
With this exhibition, the artist Mayte Vieta invites the viewer on a journey between space and time through photography and sculpture. A journey towards nostalgia, faced with an impossible totality of life, leads us to emptiness, absence, presence and incompleteness. The viewer is engulfed by the atmosphere of melancholy to dialogue with human frailty, life and death. Especially interested in the relationship between the intimate and the unknown.
The exhibition presents a complex study of languages and materials that reflect through unfolding, confrontation, contemplation, complexity in the face of the events that we encounter in the ups and downs of time.
