Based on the historical magazine L’architecture d’aujourd’hui, Regina Giménez has developed a work process that analyzes advertising elements and modifies them in such a way that they completely change their meaning. Through an exercise in abstraction, she reveals its graphic composition and offers another reading of some images linked to the advertising of the new construction materials of the time.

For the presentation of the exhibition project, the architect Naiara Montero will talk with the artist about art, design and architecture and will present the publication L’architecture d’aujourd’hui by Regina Giménez edited by Enric Farrés Duran for the editorial project the five dolphins (Barcelona, 2015).

On the occasion of the exhibition, Vilaseco Creative Laboratory together with the creator launches two special editions. An edition of 70 copies of the work Dalami, printed in giclée printing of pigmented inks on art smooth 220gr paper, numbered and signed by the artist. And a rug under the title Ciatherme, an edition of 5 copies, 300 x 200cm format, hand-woven by artisans with 100% organic wool.
