Carla Souto

A Coruña, 1994

Born in winter surrounded by chestnut trees. Almost spring.

Carla Souto holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo (Spain) and a Master’s Degree in Sculpture from the University of Lisbon (Portugal). Her work has been exhibited at Sant Andreu Contemporani (Barcelona), Sala Amadís (Madrid), ART Mustang (Elche), Galeria Monumental (Lisbon), Pazo da Cultura de Pontevedra and Museu da Imagem e Som de Florianópolis (Brazil), among other places.

I wonder about things that happen above ground.
The interaction between nature and public space and how land policy defines our behaviour.
How a flower makes everything look more beautiful.
